Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 110g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 120g sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 85g flour
  • Bicarbonate of soda
  • Walnuts
  • Chocolate chips

Preparation

 

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together and mix well.
  2. Beat the eggs with the sugar.
  3. Add flour and baking soda; mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in the melted chocolate, butter, and vanilla.
  5. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  6. Grease and flour a baking tin.
  7. Pour in the batter, top with extra chocolate chips and walnuts if desired, and bake at 180°C for 30–35 minutes.
