Ingredients

  • 250 g plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 ml fresh whole milk
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 3 g salt

Preparation

 

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Add sugar and mix.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, add milk, and heat without boiling.
  3. Pour the milk into the flour mixture and stir until combined. Add beaten eggs and mix until smooth. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the waffle iron and brush with butter.
  5. Pour a ladle of batter onto the waffle iron, close, and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the waffle and cool on a wire rack. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
